1. Information we collect

When you use the calculator

The free calculator runs in your browser. The numbers you type into it aren’t sent to us unless you place an order.

When you order a report

We collect your email address, the property address, the deal terms from the calculator (price, down payment, interest rate, rent and monthly costs) and an order ID.

When you pay

Stripe collects your payment details on its checkout page. We receive a confirmation with your email, the amount and date, and limited card details such as the last four digits. We never see or store your full card number.

When you contact us

We keep the emails you send us and our replies.

Technical information

Our hosting provider, Netlify, records basic technical data such as IP addresses, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. Our fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads. We don’t currently use analytics cookies or advertising trackers.

2. How we use your information

• To research, prepare and email your report
• To process payments and manage Investor plan subscriptions
• To answer your questions and send important notices about your order or plan
• To prevent fraud and abuse, and to meet legal and tax obligations
• To improve Lendworthy, using information that doesn’t identify you

3. How we research your report

To prepare a report, we look up the property and nearby rentals in public listings and third-party data sources, and we use AI tools, including Anthropic’s Claude, to help with that research. We share the property address and deal terms with these tools. We don’t share your email address or payment information with them.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run Lendworthy, and only what they need:

• Stripe, to process payments and subscriptions
• Netlify, to host the website and receive order forms
• Our email provider, to send and receive email
• AI research tools, as described above

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business. We don’t sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

5. Cookies

Lendworthy’s own pages don’t set tracking cookies. Stripe uses cookies on its checkout pages to process payments and prevent fraud, as described in Stripe’s privacy policy.

6. How long we keep information

We keep order records and reports for as long as we need them to provide Lendworthy and to meet tax and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will unless the law requires us to keep it.

7. Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@lendworthy.us. We’ll confirm the request comes from you and respond within 45 days. California residents have additional rights under state law, and we’ll honor them. We won’t treat you differently for making a request.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and we rely on established providers for payments and hosting. No method of storing or sending data is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Lendworthy is for adults. It isn’t directed to anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. If a change significantly affects how we use information we already have, we’ll tell you by email first.
